Only difference is you can't take the alcyone to a French dirt race, but Safrane can

I will presume that nothing on my previous list was worth keeping.  Really need some fusing material plus need the good ones for the event

I chose to keep Ford Escort RS2000 and Rover 216 from those i listed before. I think i now have good enough rare garage for normal races but i am missing offroad/allsurface cars. Which are the best ones to get in Rare?
  • adms87adms87 Member Posts: 48 ✭✭
You're missing the Ford Mondeo or the Suzuki Ignis Sport for wet asphalt tracks, the Corvette 396 for drags and Suzuki Swift Rally Spec for offroad. As for allsurface, I don't think there are many good cars. I only have the Ranger.

I would add the chevrolet Volt who only cost 11 , is standart and reach 87 grip , usefull for restriction !!
  • dunowedunowe Member Posts: 351 ✭✭✭
    proven:
    swift rally spec
    escort rally spec
    merc 280 GE
    hummer H2
    jimny (for 80th)

    Waiting to be tested:
    ford ranger 2016
    LR Discovery

The first always in 323 tune, except for maybe hummer. Second Merc 280 can also be a good hill climber

    lower RQ:
    nis terrano 2
    Kuga?
    hond CR-V
    LR freelander
    RR mark1

Way the RQ restrictions come into play ...
You need the best drag / slalom / city cars and there wet dirt counter parts .... for EACH RQ

That's a whole lot of cars lol

    • Audio Quattro
    • BMW 330d
    • Chevrolet Corvette C4
    • Nissan Primera eGT
    • Vauxhall Chevette HSR
    • Volvo C70 T5
    • BMW 325i
    • Mercedes-Benz 280 GE
    • Chevrolet Impala SS
    • Honda CRX VTEC
    • Rover 216
Audi Quattro is somewhat versatile. Works well for wet and some off road tracks, but has poor mid range acceleration and average stats all around.
BMW 330d is pretty solid, and performance wise is one of the better diesel cars. Doesn't have anything special going for it though, so pretty average.
Chevrolet Corvette C4 is not a car I am familiar with...
Nissan Primera eGT is a rather slow handling oriented car. Very solid car.
Vauxhall Chevette HSR is one of the best rare cars around. Somewhat slow but comes with one of the best handling in the game, and has RWD which helps on Hutch logic. Slow top speed though...
Volvo C70 T5 and BMW 325i aren't anything special. They aren't bad though so give them a try.
Mercedes Benz 280 GE is another one of these "best rare cars". With offroad tires and 4WD, it can terrorize even higher level cars and SUVs in certain conditions.
Chevrolet Impala SS is not a car I am familiar with. I don't think it's that great in game.
Honda CRX VTEC is another car I am not familiar with.
Rover 216 is a solid car. Somewhat slow with better than average handling.

@bobdylan: are these the D you have maxed or the one you recommend maxing?
if the latter, what is the reason for:
    11
bmw : wasnt the rover sd1 better?
    chevelle ss

    12
silverado (besides the one time at Xmas)
    focus
    renault

    13
    puma
    corvette 396

    14
    mondeo st 200
    focus 170
    bmw 330d

    i would also expect:
    11
    reatta
    cascade
    rr mk 1

    12
    escort rs 2000
    lr freelander

    didnt they make te cut?

all horses for courses, the stand outs at RQ 11 are the BMW and elan for punching above there wieght class . Standard tyres on both , the elan is brill on slalom and the bmw city's both all weather

RQ 12 ... caterham a savage , the vets have the legs
It's the monte Carlo that seems to get the most wins been a brill balance of legs and all weather handeling
  • bobdylanbobdylan Member Posts: 1,736 ✭✭✭✭✭
RQ 13 spoilt for choice , the El camino every ones must have . The vette for longer strips .
The yellow Volvo a good city and speeder .
The puma has great handeling .
The G wagons off road weapons.
Escort rally cars a must have as is the Subaru svx for its off road drag ability .
Suprise fighter in this lots the MG turbo , cracking all rounder .

  • bobdylanbobdylan Member Posts: 1,736 ✭✭✭✭✭

    Can't have to many elises
The discovery a good hill climbs 330 .
    Hummers with out saying .
    Subaru foresters great slalom
Xts are good but low hight can be there downfall .
Chvettes are power punches slaloms and city's
Rally swifts a must have .
    rest are all obvious .
Doing up that estate tdi 033 at the mo as it's handeling is deceptive

Thanks a lot for all the answers!

btw.  What do you think about Volvo 850 T-SR and Volvo C70 T5 2.3?

And are there any good Mercedes-Benz'es if you do not count 280 GE?
  • bobdylanbobdylan Member Posts: 1,736 ✭✭✭✭✭

Think both the c70s will be worth keeping , even seen one guy have a c70 T5 at 330 and tbf it pulled great on a drag .
They all look like city cars to me .
the 850 tho 152mph and 90 handeling.  What's not to love

I am really looking forward to maxing out this one when I get one. Would you guys suggest 303?

Both 303 and 033, this car is so OP for its RQ.

    Just finished 003.
I’m so sure that this crazy thing will be upgraded to C class in next update.

Im not really sure what developers had in mind when assigning RQ to some of these new cars. There is at least 10 of them that is really unbalanced. Well I guess I will just have to max them all.

Those are impressive times! Seems to be even better than the Elise when fully tuned. Now we have to figure out what tune is better, 303 or 033... My guess is 033.
