No the game is not designed as a team game, but as with any competitive game, people will always find ways to gain a competitive advantage. That's why people started late joining. It's why people started smurfing. It's why people used to go to foreign app stores to buy cheaper gold.Sports like Formula 1 are a perfect example of this. If anyone follows it, Mercedes' latest innovation has just been deemed legal, so now they have a competitive advantage that the other teams need to catch up on.In Top Drives it is not against the rules to team up. Hutch don't help us to do it, but you'd be stupid not to. There are many, many groups of friends on Facebook and Discord and if you don't join a group, you're giving yourself a disadvantage. I don't see why you would choose to play alone. Most friend groups have agreements not to hit each other, and they'll sometimes help a friend achieve a higher tier by feeding wins. It doesn't usually extend beyond that and to think otherwise is, in my opinion, paranoia. They're not gangs but of course they want to win. Why not join them?
