It's a bit slower than the Elises so 969 wins a lot of tracks, although I suspect 699 wins a couple.

699 wins a lot of twisty stuff vs 969, BUT 969 wins slalom where this car is key

Edit: actually, I am assuming 969 wins slalom but dont have evidence. Does anyone have 699 slalom time? 969 is 27:46 (stuttgart 7.1)

Wow. Then 699 is definitely better. Seems I did the wrong one... never assume...

Maybe they have changed either physics or stat: I remember 699 loosing slalom (not remember exactly which one) to 969 too.

Anyway, I have both, so can do some testing. Just let me know, what tracks.

Anyone knows what is the best tune for the yellow and grey guaras? 699?

How useful is the 750d when fully upgraded? I'm considering upgrading one for the upcoming finals, but with its very low handling i would expect it to lose against much lower RQ 4WD STD cars (like the VWs) on most tracks relevant for those cars (so not drags).

Yes it finishes at 82 handling when 969. It isn't the strongest but its low-by-comparison 0-60 helps it along. Better on faster circuits like hairpin than twisties. It's still one of the better Epics and I do find it useful pretty often.

What's the best tune for a second 240Z Rally Car? I already have one at 969
Same, 969. Also for the 3rd. Then you can think about a 996 for some specific event

As far as I can see avoid a 699. Wins zero. 996 for a spot of niche drag action maybe. You wouldn't go far wrong though with lots of 969s. Mainly use mine in clubs these days. Hording them for if they ever go ultra.

Agreed, but I have found it is unfortunately caught between two worlds. There are better handling lower rq cars for twisty rain (numero9, ipace, ct6, arteon, cc, etc) and on anything fast, even if wet, it gets beaten by strong perf 4wd. Still good to have maxed, but it is a difficult car to play.

I think 699 may win something on dry asphalt, not sure though... I have it and I use it only as 3rd car against players who don't have 3 of them

Should I max the 640i xdrive for the finals Or would it be worth it with my hand? it will be the first legend I maxed if i do (700+ days f2p). Also maxing the 750 Xdrive. I assume both should be 969? Pic is my finals setup.

Since you are short of a car for the drags and the Ultra and Super are a little weak, I would question the value in doing so.

    Especially for ‘average’ prize cars.

    How would you upgrade a 3rd RQ48 Phaeton? Still 9-6-9, or 9-9-6?

    I would do 699 before I did 996 - MRA is 65

699 seems to have very little interest seeing final stats compared to 969:

so I finally went for 996, which also seems to be more useful for current Tri-Serie.

Mine is in the same condition... Considering is high RQ UR, I suppose 699 is the way to go, but I can't find any timing to prove it.

This was from the igf, quite useful. I went 233 after all, since I have better american draggers + it’s medium ride height

Not sure what you’d be using it on with success in this finals - it’ll get slammed on the drags by the legendaries and the MRA is low enough that I don’t think it would do well on the city or highway. Just because the 699 0-60 stat is 0.1s worse than 969 doesn’t mean it won’t beat it places. We’ve seen other 699 cars beat 969 in the rain - can’t think of any specific examples, but they exist.

In 996 it beat other Phaeton on City streets and on Highway.

I have 2 other Phaeton (both 969), VW CC and the white UR BMW, all 4WD STD but no dragger so not sure will be enough to stay in T3 anyway.

Anyone knows if the aston rapide s is better as 699 or 969? Eg twisty road or g force where it can go either way

Depends on where you use it, but I'm pretty sure it's better at 699.  I have a 699 tune, if you want times.

Thanks for the offer but I would also need to know 969. I guess I’ll just go 699. Will most likely loose on hairpin, slalom and old car park, oh well.
