Welcome to the Car Corrections Forum

Welcome to the new Car Corrections Sub-Forum. The goal of Top Drives is to feature vehicles that ideally reflect authentic, accurate performance and metadata of a specific version of the vehicle. In an effort of increased accuracy, the car correction process is now player driven, using a simpler format that should help ensure all stats are proper and correct.

The way this will work is if you notice an incorrect stat on a vehicle, then please do the following:

  • Create a thread within this sub-forum on what vehicle(s) need to be corrected. You can make a thread for a single vehicle, or group several similar vehicles together (Porsche SUVs, B-class Cars, Wrong Seat numbers, etc)
  • For every correction that needs to be made, include which specification needs to corrected, the correct figure, and a valid source for reference (Wikipedia is not a valid source).
  • A member of the player team will then investigate the claim and respond if it is a change that is required, if the current figure is correct, or if there neither are correct.
  • If a change is required, it will be included on a master list as a ‘Verified Change’ that Hutch will constantly monitor.

The goal is to make changes easier and quicker. We will actively update users on the status of their vehicle change requests.

@Gsearch can you clarify what's meant by "the player team"? Is that Hutch staff members who play the game or is there a team of selected forum members who are gatekeepers for stat changes?

That is a team of Non Hutch employed players with a strong background in the automotive industry.

Wonderful! I love this idea =D

Can we have a view at the document as viewer? Or and update each week? To be sure we don't duplicate request?

Would it be considered for all the 155mph limiters to be removed. Example the BMW M5 F10 top speed is 190, but limitd IG to 155. Yet the M3 CRT has no limiter?

that's a very old topic and hutch's answer is NO. I can't remember the argumentation. but what they were willing to might do is to let the acceleration curve stop abruptly instead of the fading out we have now.

    Hey there !

    Still no feedback ?

Management 101, if you want to involve people, give them feedback, give them some milestone...either they will feel discouraged. Especially for volunteer.

Will Hutch actually change them? Or it is just a suggestion to Hutch?

I just posted a topic, but it has gone to ''be approved''?

Does anyone know roughly how long this wait is?

Sorry but I don't think it is a bug. I just tried to respond in a thread and I got "Your comment must be approved".

    414 hp = 420 ps
    295 lb-ft = 400 Nm

Also, when reporting a potential issue with a car, please start a new thread for that car or add to the existing one for that car. :)

Kind of disappointed of the PL11... Still so many mistakes and almost none of our finds got fixed... The first car correction post was made back in April 2019... I can understand that changing performance data’s takes time but why not change some wrong pictures or engine specs or years? We are hoping for more car corrections than changing some car’s performance data’s for no reason

So care to explain how on earth is this possible????
Race lost to a car with OFFROAD TYRES????
And this is not the first time i encounter a car with same specs losing to a car on offroad tyres.
Do you guys in Hutch games know how do the offroad tyres behave and look compared to Performance tyres.
    This is ridiculous.

    Here we go again.
Dry asphalt is the baseline environment. The stats you see on card are stats as measured on dry asphalt. Any advantages a car would have over another on dry asphalt are right there on the card.

As measured on dry asphalt, escort still has better handling and lower weight too. The result is fine.

Some differences in tires are exaggerated in the game for sake of balance. Slicks aren't that extremely useless in the wet normally, off-road tires aren't as good on tarmac. It's okay for the purposes of the game

You my friend are talking nonsense.
So my carrera on a dirt surface would be only 50 points behind the escort or would that be 200-300.
Offroad tyres are miles behind performance one on tarmac.
Put these two in real life on that circuit and escort is 10 seconds behind the carrera on the card tyres....

No he is correct. All performance stats are taken on dry pavement. On dry pavement the Escort has the grip and 0-60 listed on the card.

On performance tires the Escorts handling score and 0-60 would be further improved on the card.
