I would like to add to this that if it doesn't change in 0-60, the rq should go from 23 to 22 since it's worse than the 22rq 924 rally and is almost worse than the 21rq silvia rally car

I believe you linked the wrong car.

If someone could tell me why that lancia isn't 22rq that would be great.

We need someone who has one to test it. I would guess though it’s much lower weight and mid engine set up gives it a big advantage in twisty off-road situations.

I got it, don't have a 111 924 to compare it too tho since mine is at 111 already. Which tracks should I test?

I can’t access the campaign track list right now, but try ice slalom, snow g-force, rain dirt twisty circuit, and maybe medium rally cross.

    The stratos is currently 111

There you go, a 111 924 beats the 111 stratos. So stratos should go down 1 rq.

I don't think you understand how Hutch determines RQ.  They don't run cars only on tracks to which they are suited.  They have a set listing of tracks that they run each car on, whether it would be good in that instance or not.  The final score from all the pre-chosen tracks determines where the vehicle falls in the RQ level.  Hutch does some slight tweaking, but usually leaves it as is.  Just because you found some tracks where the Stratos loses, doesn't absolutely mean it should go down.

There's no track in which the stratos wins...

Whoops, forgot the Stratos was low.  Forget the city tracks.  haha

Consider a broad range of tracks, like the resolver does.  How does it fare on the asphalt tracks?

    1/4 Mile (New York 5.1)
    1/2 Mile (New York 5.2)
    1 Mile (Monaco 10.1)
    Car Park (Tokyo 9.1)
    Fast Circuit (Stuttgart 3.1)
    G-Force (Stuttgart 4.1)
    Hairpin (Tokyo 5.1)
    Indoor Karting (New York 4.2)
    Karting Circuit (Midlands 4.1)
    Slalom (Stuttgart 7.1)
    Twisty Circuit (New York 10.1)
    Twisty Road (Monaco 5.1)

(Also, what was the Porsche's time on the 1/2 mile sand?  You posted the Stratos.)

You're right.  Glanced at the times and thought the Stratos was running the 2 minute time on the small city circuit.  That's what I get for not fully vetting my reply. :)

But don't you agree that it should be 1rq lower? If it loses practically every offroad track to a 22rq offroader?

I have the mindset that there must be a reason.  We just have to find it. :)

I agree that there must be a reason the rq estimator hutch uses thinks it should be 23rq, but all these results clearly show it can be wrong.

i'm not sure what hutch needs to see to realize stratos needs to be 22rq to be honest.

So any statement that can be made about this car?
  • lemmings99olemmings99o Posts: 1,350 ✭✭✭✭✭
How does it compare to the other UR rally cars? is it now more of a case that since the 924 has been raised to medium ride height it should be looking at going up to epic?

We will have Hutch review it.

In these tracksets the escort beats it everywhere though, looks like the stratos fits perfectly in between the ford and porsche. And not so much above.

As Mike said, this has been noted for review and there is nothing more to be done at this time.
