I guess it depends on the hand.
it was a 2x escort 2x RR RQ23 all maxed and 333 raptor.

The server crash will have played the cars in a non-optimal way and left your ghost like that for that track. The other players saw and took advantage by the looks of it.

Hi guys, I was hoping for some feedback from our point counting experts.

i join the event and win 1st race.
during 2nd race I get server error and immediately end up with 1-5 score and 17 points
then I race 8 more times ending up with 9-5 score and 80 points.

can someone explain what happened here? Looks really like I’m missing some points here. And got 5 losses out of nowhere within 1minute after just racing 1 time.

Well the 17 point seems more like your 1-0 score to me. 80 points for 9-5 seems ok. But those five losses seem strange. Leaving just one bad ghost behind should not give you five losses this quickly, this must be some kind of bug I'd say.

Is @hutch_arturo on forums? He doesn't believe server errors happen unless it's our own fault, and he also finds it unlikely people will be able to race your bad ghost so quickly afterwards.

This problem is real Hutch! I would assume @Hutch_Tim would be able to share his experiences with the team seeing as he is the only one that plays.

    It's a pathetic response.

If it's our fault, why is the error 400? A lazy timeout error hidden as a bad request because how can it be our bad request? YOUR client sent it....

It obviously is a Bug. Would have been interesting to know the score in between 1-5 and 9-5. When did then wrong score change into a corrwct one?

I had something similar in an event 9 days ago... I contacted support. They said they were investigating the issue. That was on Jan 8th. Haven't heard from them since.

Oh hi! Quick note, I'm not the only one who plays, but I am probably the one who plays+posts the most (after Gsearch).

    This is all very weird:
    1) You get 5 losses in very little time. Unlikely, although not completely impossible.
    2) You get a 1-5 win/loss record (after the server error) and have 17 points - so it looks like the 5 losses aren't really counting to your score
    3) Meanwhile someone else in that leaderboard has a 7-1 record and 16 points for it, that doesn't look right either
    4) You go from 1-5/17 points to 9-5/80 points, averaging 7 points per win? That doesn't look right either.

One possible thing here is that, perhaps connected to the error, your points total for the 5 losses didn't update until later. So that would account for both (2) and (4).

I've occasionally had the experience where I come back to the game and see I'm 15 points shy of T2, win a match, and then find I'm 13 points shy of T2. I always assumed I must have taken a loss while I was racing, but now I'm wondering if scores and win/loss do sometimes get out of sync. I'll pay more attention to win/loss and see if I can catch any examples of similar weirdness.

There is definitely a sync problem for a long time now. Refresh button doesn't always work, safer to get out and enter again.

Especially in Finals. You think you are safe, you exit and re-enter only to find out that your 'real' position is much lower than shown before and you have to burn gold.

    Very, very annoying...

Also worrying. What if the scores being out of sync affect final placement?

    Of course, they do.

Scoring gets out of sync, pretty often when i smurf and quitloss 5x i end up with a 0-4 score, even after exiting and reentering the event.

Wins and losses not being in sync with the truth is one thing, we've all seen that I think. But this issue that 43MK4 had, and Tim tried to explain is another thing. It's wins/losses not being in sync with the points and position shown. That's even more worrying, but I think does not happen too often. I also hate that usually the whole leaderboard is either showing up emtpy, or jumps to random positions. It all started with Clubs IIRC, and haven't been fixed since. But that's a third problem. :)
