Top Drives is sunsetting on Amazon

We’ve made the tough decision to sunset Top Drives on Amazon devices. It’s not a decision we took lightly, and we want to say thank you to all our Amazon players and hopefully welcome you onto a new platform in the coming weeks!

From mid-April, Amazon players will not be able to make purchases from the game. Should you try, you will receive a pop-up notification that says “Unable to validate your purchase with the server”.

To give Amazon players the chance to move their game to a new platform, we want to give as long a notice period as possible. With this in mind, Top Drives will be available on Amazon devices until mid-July.

During this time Amazon users should take steps to move their game to an alternative platform. Once your game save has been moved to a new platform, you’ll be able to continue playing without interruption, and will be able to make in-app purchases again.

Please note that if you don’t move your game save to a new device or platform before the final date, your game progress and purchases will be lost.

If you’re looking for information on how to move your account to an Android or iOS device, check out the guide below.

To transfer your Progress from your Amazon device to another iOS or Android device you will need to save such progress through Facebook. There is currently no way to transfer your save to another platform without Facebook. Once your account is connected, simply follow these steps to transfer your save:

  1. On Device A (your Amazon device), ensure you are logged into Facebook on Top Drives.

  2. On Device B download Top Drives.

  3. Log into your Facebook account on the Facebook App on Device B.

  4. On Device B load Top Drives, then sign in to Facebook when prompted, you will then be able to retrieve your progress.

  5. Delete the game from the Device A.

Will Top Drives still function properly on any iOS device or Google OS device (e.g. Chrome OS, Android) with iOS 10 or Android 6.0 or newer?
