A tune like the first three you mention is pretty much never better than the standard tunes like 3.3/2.3/3.3, so save your Super Rare cars and don't do that extra fuse.

On this forum we mostly call the three main tunes 969 (3.3/2.3/3.3), 699 (2.3/3.3/3.3) and 996 (3.3/3.3/2.3). It makes it easier to type, it makes sense and everybody knows what you're talking about. :)

The Lotus 135 used to be best as 699 before Hutch changed the game physics a few months back. I believe it is now best as 969 but don't quote me on it. Most people have a 699 Lotus Elise because they upgraded it before the physics update, and we don't know if Hutch will change it back again.

If you go 699 or 969 you'll be fine. It's a good car in the early part of the game but keep playing and there will be a point where you'll hardly use the car anymore.

I have both tunes and both are useful.  The issue was back in the day this car was one of the keys to the final round of the campaign and 699 won and 969 didn't.

I think that's how it was anyway it was a long time ago for me. I just tested both again and either tune beats the final round KTM if that's still something to worry about.
