So I’m guessing we’ve moved on from the Bugatti that is this weekend’s final....
Yep, don't think many are that enthused by the requirements or track selections. Or the prize.
Agreed. Buying overpriced packs to get uninspiring cars, to race on uninspiring tracksets, to come 9th whilst trying to win the 5th best Bugatti, that will not be allowed in major events anyway just doesn’t do it for me.

who cares about the worst bugatti?
I see what you're saying but we're likely to head into a series of French based events and it's one route to get a Legendary for those events.
Events for which prize cars are unlikely to be usable.
Some of them, and most of the ones that matter, likely. still, better to have it and not need it than the other way round.
What I'm really curious about is how the ultra rare copo camaro will be handled. Ultra as a final's top prize has never happened before and this car is an even more extreme specialist than a camaro, so it's probably best not to hand it to many people - and yet ultra rare prizes were relatively accessible so far.

They could do both in one event, Epic copo for tier one, ultra as a tier 2 prize?

possibly, but we've never see this happen either and that would mean releasing even more potentially really broken cars.
I'm gonna fight tooth and nail for one but I'm afraid of what the regular events will turn into cause they'll likely be the best and/or most economical choice on every drag. even if they have bad mra, they will probably still rule 1/2 and 1/4 mile. Though as the physics in game stand right now, they wouldn't be able to hit the numbers on the card anyway.

Agree they would dominate but they’d be pretty easy to control if hutch felt the need. All it takes is a trackset with a wet drag, long drag, or no drag to make choosing them involve a compromise. Although that would involve foresight and planning into track selections in Hutch’s part...
Yes, the regulations state, in the Dakar Rally, that you can either have giant offroad tyres and RWD or smaller offroad tyres and 4WD. If I remember correctly.

Think I’ll wait for an FR event myself.
