I dont want to shatter tour dreams but i opened it yesterday and i tested it for MRA, its 62...
Also its not a handling monster so i put it in my fuse materials list...

There are much better 22RQ BMWs

Does 969 on the M5 win both city streets? Would appreciate times from 699

Probably best BMW for test bowl in finals? Shame there are only 2 tracksets with test bowl :(

699 wins on the city streets. I don't remember which one but it does win

It jumps off the line though, like the M Coupe.

I've just pulled one of these:

It doesn't look very promising. Not quite as fast as a maybach and not enough extra handling to be useful but 1RQ higher. Does it have a favourable acceleration curve?

Yeah, being slightly slower to 100 than RQ24 performance tyre BMWs and the RQ23 standard tyre Maybach doesn't bode well for it's usefulness.

Cool, so 969 wins one city street and 699 wins the other?

I get +0.03 on both races with my 969

So I'm wondering. I've got three 2-11s, one of them maxed. Should I keep the other two hoping for a high profile lotus event or is not worth it?

  • TGPDTGPD Posts: 6,067 ✭✭✭✭✭

Worth? I know it was rq23 but was demoted

Supposedly its got very good mra. Seems good for 90s events :) Personally, I’d max it (had I had the cash...)

I'm guessing it's the fastest ultra porsche dragger, maybe even a contender for the fastest german one on some tracks. I'd keep it and probably go 996 based on the findings

I tested stock 968 against the 911rs  on some drags, the 911rs won them.

Any thoughts on how to tune the VW Golf GTI TCR? Is it best with 699 since it has slicks? And can it compete with any of the crazy new French/German renaissanse beasts (Dezir etc)?
Any thoughts on this? 699 or 969 for Golf GTI TCR? Has anyone maxed it either way that could provide times?

And BTW anyone else think its strange that this has lower handling than say a megane 275 trophy? Its a race car with slicks...

699 for the first, used mine quite a bit recently and it wins more. Both city streets iirc

A lot of things about the handling in this game don't make sense

That’s right, 699 will win some important tracks in the dry, but 969 will be more useful in the wet, and slalom / car park I believe, as usual.
So on this one I think it is really 50/50 between 699 and 969, also depends on the rest of your garage and where you think you will use it.
Ideal is to have one of each.

Definitely true that one of each is ideal - but 699 wins a surprising amount in the wet as well. Wins wet city short and ties wet medium. 🤷🏻‍♂️

This looks like a keeper. 969?
