    So long story short...

A bunch of new features which may or may not be buggy, while many of the old complaints:

    1. Get rid of clubs
    2. 15x CF
    3. Horrible drop rates (but seemingly rigged for new players and against old players)
    4. Late-joining
    5. Stingy prize distribution brackets
    6. Ridiculous event end-times

    Are still not addressed.

    Hooray happy 2020.
Added a 6th existing problem to the list.

But who cares about improvements when we can cover the flaws up with a thick glossy sheen of updates?

Why those event times are ridiculous?
For everyone it finishes at same time.
Better suggestion would be to repeat same old, USA, Europe, Asia servers has seperate event starting/finishing times.
Because now Asia suffers more than others.

Some really good stuff in here, particularly prize car re-runs, new campaign challenges and RQ rebalance 👍

Reverting to the old points system is rather strange though. The old points system didn’t work, so they came up with the new system which is even worse. Surely there can’t only be 2 possible systems? Going back to something that was changed because it was rubbish seems like a step backwards. How about a 3rd option?

Considering that the new point system is worse, reverting to the old one while a new one is possibly devised isn't a bad thing?

Yes, true, but I didn’t see any mention of the devising a new one part! We may be stuck with the old one that nobody liked for months / ever.
But, yeah I see your point, better that than the current one

Will there be changes to the RQ ranker on the road to the RQ shift?

Increasing the spread will make more cars useful, but it won't solve the current out of order issues. Such as cars being ranked higher because of two characteristics that never see use together (e.g. high speed specialists with medium ground clearance) or off-road cars being at a lower RQ than they should be relative to all surface cars.

Would you like to suggest a different system? The way I understand it, withouth wanting to put words in your mouth, you seem to disagree with the +3/-3 spread. What's the alternative? Zero spread would mean, that basically the win-loss-difference counts. 0-0 would be the same as 50-50. I don't think this is desireable.

The other aspect is the ELO bonus/malus system against players with much higher/lower score.

Does the scoring system have to be one-size-fits-all? Would it not be possible to vary it event to event? Ie. Some events could use old scoring, some new, maybe some could try something in between? At least experiment with more subtle changes to the win/loss numbers and the ticket prices/availability in isolated events until we find a sweet spot?

You guys really only focus on scoring system? What about other stuff that we were told would be fixed in this update?

Imo the best ranking system would be without handicap, one victory always give the same amount of points, dont care if you have 300 points more or 300 points less than your opponent.

The problem? More difficult for the new 150rq players.

Update is not yet available. Points system is Server-side update. It doesnt requires Client update.
Regular update will be at earliest after next tri-series.

Something in between the old and new system.
i.e. a less extreme version of the new system.

Going back to something everyone hated and begged to be changed is a retrograde step imo

Happy to hear about the new chapter of the campaign, I hope it includes all the new tracksets released in the past 2 years.

For testing purposes sure. But in the long run it would be a bit to confusing IMHO.

A few whales that want to play 5 minutes, log off and be tier 1 complained and you reverted back to the old scoring system. It was the only thing you had done right you rewarded activity and gave the general population a higher chance at landing higher if they really tried. What a shame Hutch. What a shame.

    No.

New system fucked over people who can't possibly play at event end at 0400 in the morning. It affected a lot more people than just late-joiners. That's not to say the old system was much better, but yeah.

What about the snapping back of the filter? I love the game but this one brings me in rage mode every single day

Agree slightly, but in overall I disagree. Packs are very based on luck, while ticket spamming is not and gives results straight away.
Rebel racing is ticket spamming straigjt away from beginning in pvp events. I like that TD is not like that.

Rarity changes would be great. Would like to have some extra time to collect D cars becoming C cars xD

It affected everybody. F2P players that might’ve had hands that were competitive for once could’ve been bumped out of top tiers due to ticket spam just as easily as paying players. There’s a difference between being in top tiers because you have a good hand and were active and being there because your hand is **** but you can spend more gold than others and drag cars and hit skip faster. That’s not the style of gameplay Hutch wanted to encourage.

honestly from my experience ppl who have a non-competetive deck never make it up there anyway...youre referring to a very few selected group of folks. 90% of f2p who played for less than a year will never ever have that privilidge to buy tickets in order to rush to the top.

the more you spend $ the more you will be rewarded, thats how ALL mobile gaming apps roll. I dont think Hutch will be an exception ever and suddenly become altruistic (lol).

for relativly newer players like me its a dream to ever be able to compete for a prize car....I mean, for example this current daily event where its RWD x5....im rolling with 2 legendaries and 3 epics and still cant beat all those prize cars winners ending up rank 50 or so....just crazy.
