    I don’t understand what u mean...
Do you mean that they should all get a style icon tag? If so, Why?
  • CRO747CRO747 Posts: 80 ✭✭✭
Why is Lancia Dedra a Style Icon? It's actually quite a minger imo.

If a car is designed by a famous car designer studio, that doesn't necessarily mean it's a "style icon".

The Honda Fit can be considered as the multi-purpose vehicle that truly pioneered the resurgence of the subcompact in America. It’s cute and tiny, but it manages to have a decent amount of space and cargo capacity for its users – perfect for family use. Its re-configurable interior volume with seats that recline, fold and tumble for easy removal, allowing users to reprioritize passenger and cargo volumes.

Literally maybe 2 of the above qualify as "style icons" ... The F1 (NOT the LM or the longtail) and the esprit, but tbf that's the wrong esprit.

You might also want to consider:

Alfa disco Volante (both) & SZ,
    Audi tt,
    BMW M3 (the first one, M1, i8,
    Bugatti eb110,
    Chevrolet Bel air, various Corvettes,
Chrysler prowler (shouldn't that be a Plymouth?),
    Fiat panda & 8v,
Ford fiesta xr2, escort Mexico / rs1600, focus, focus rs MK1, Sierra cosworth, escort cosworth, Mustang 289,
    GMC Syclone
Honda beat, crx VTEC, civic, s2000
    Lamborghini miura sv
Lancia Delta integrale, stratos & 037
    Mazda eunos rs limited
    McLaren f1

    Going to bed now

    Peugeot 205 GTi
    Pagani Zonda c12

The 2CV is one of the most iconic designs in history. Its sacrilege that it isn't a style icon. Also it brings smurfers into SI events.

I made a list of cars that I considered should have the style icon tag ("style icon" as a car that was or/and is considered gorgeous -even if you or I don't like it-, loved by the non-car people, or else it was ugly AF):

    • Alfa Romeo Disco Volante (C8) RQ 25
    • Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 Stradale RQ 19
    • BMW 507 RQ 5
    • BMW 850CSi RQ 17
    • BMW M1 (1978) RQ 16
    • BMW Z8 RQ 21
    • BMW Z4 RQ 21 (this actually because the designer pioneered the "flame" design language).
    • Fiat Multipla RQ 5
    • Chrysler/Plymouth PT Cruiser RQ 8
    • Chrysler/Plymouth Prowler RQ 12
    • Chevrolet HHR SS Turboharged RQ 17
    • Chevrolet SSR 6.0L RQ 17
    • Chevrolet SSR RQ 12
    • Chevrolet Corvette (1953) RQ 5
    • Chevrolet Bel Air (1957) RQ 5
    • Citröen 2CV RQ 3
    • Citröen M35 RQ 3
    • DS Convertible RQ 3 (also add innovate tag, it had air suspension in 1958, that's crazy)
    • Abarth 1500 Biposto RQ 3 (the only car I know with a 3rd headlight)
    • Ford Mustang 289 RQ 9 (the first ever pony car)
    • Ford Thunderbird 3.9 L V8
    • Lancia Stratos Zero RQ 11
    • Mercedes-Benz 280 GE RQ 14
    • Mercedes-Benz G500 RQ 20
    • Mercedes-Benz AMG G55 RQ 21
    • Mercedes-Benz AMG G63 RQ 21
    • Mini Cooper S (1971) RQ 4
    • Datsun 240Z RQ 7
    • Pagani Zonda S RQ 28
    • Pagani Zonda S 7.3 R 28
    • Plymouth Superbird RQ 17
    • Porsche 911 (1965) RQ 8
    • Renault Vel Satis RQ 9
    • Renault 5 Turbo RQ 15
    • Alpine A110 RQ 15
    • Subaru Alcyone SVX RQ 13
    • Volkswagen New Beetle RQ 8
    • Volkswagen Karmann Ghia RQ 3
Maybe I'm missing some or I'm taggin some that aren't style icon. But all of this cars are either good looking, horrible or weird.

Style Icon should remain more exclusive imo

Bear in mind that we are trying to add about 30 cars as style icon in a pool of 1644... Of course there are already a small amount of them around there, but still very exclusive imo.

I think it was the first "SUV coupé", but is just a guess.

That was the X6, not X5
