Well if you look at it in a different way, it is quite intriguing all this mess. Like having to start all over again. Don't know what to do with my data base though as it needs to be revised from scratch. What I would like to know more is if a roll back is still an option or we have to adjust to current version and wait repairs for this one.

2.6 Add a column at the back of a card stating its mid-range acceleration (e.g. 60-100, 0-100 or 100-150 times etc.)
2.7 Also add a column at the back of card stating its "Off-the-line acceleration" (0-30, 0-45 times etc.)
On the issue of publishing additional data, there are some statistics we aren't able to list on the cards due to restrictions from manufacturers.

Wow been off a few hours , this is a storm running here !! You guys are pretty agressive , i know some of you did put massive money in but to me there is a way to be heard peacefully... i didnt noticed the drastic change when i did my rallye races in Merc event with the 4WD RQ21 there is not much dirt tho) ... will run some test with my maxed FQ in full dirt/wet ...

I'm not exactly sure how we would do a beta version (in particular the logistics of how we would invite people and distribute it), but it's an interesting idea to consider. Beta testers would end up with an advantage over everyone else in terms of knowing how a new update works, but perhaps that's fair? This probably isn't the thread to discuss that though!
With Cydia Impactor you don't even need to jailbreak a device to install and run copies on iOS.
There is also an app called Test Flight” for iOS.

Please post screenshots showing the upgrade states of both cars so we can replicate the results and investigate.
Honestly, there's really no point to continue to prove something that is evident
All those screenshots with upgrade states are exactly what helped us understand the original upgraded-car-loses bug. I think I've seen one post with the upgrades shown for this new issue so far.

There will always be results that are more vs. less unexpected. It's really helpful if players can give very specific examples of the most extremely unexpected results for us to focus on.

I've posted a camaro bug where an upgraded car loses to a less upgraded car in the wrong results bug section with screenshots of the updates.

This kinda feels like hard baked karma.  Yes 4WD should ALWAYS win against RWD if both tires are perf, but to see someone I know as a dirty smurfer (I’m looking at you STRV, I finally found out who Heng Quan is) and other top tiers going Hail Mary is kind of sad.  I will use this knowledge to slap down any subis and evos in daily :P

Yeah, pretty sure no "examples" needed on the main issue of the update, 4wd behaves worst than other wd on offroad. Any offroad race, performance tyre vs performance tyre a 4wd has to beat a fwd or rwd in every race overall, no sense in results like this.

I just pulled a B escort rally recently, as you all may know. I am using it in the merc event as it DESTROYS everything by over 150 points on the rallycross. It also smashes 4wd. This must be one of the best cars in the game right now with off road tires! I am happy with this update as 4WD is nothing to my escort but I can see how it must be very frustrating for others.
On another hand, I play with a friend and he is just under rq100. In the city of Gold event he didnt need 5 all surface tired cars, only 4. If that event had been after the update then it would be SO easy for him to get the ceramic and 5000 gold (his top tier prize) with an escort.
Imagine that event if 4WD was broken...

It was honestly the update I am looking for, at least, was looking for, until I hear these monstrosities. Weight upgrade and mid-range acceleration problems have not been solved.
(Hopefully) step by step tutorials: I believe many players meant this,
    1. Publish a downdate (opposite of update, get it?)
    2. Conduct internal testing, probably making a copy of the game engines (to prevent conflict with the real TD) and running it inside Hutch staff and probably some loyal players
2.1 Find out the "Mid-range acceleration" bug and what is causing this
2.2 Find out why weight upgrade is glitched and matters so much, especially on off-road races
2.3 Find out why 4WD works so poorly after the update
2.4 Publish the findings, no need to be in a hurry, to the forums or in-game via discussion and notification screens
2.5 Fix the problems described in 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3 above
2.6 Add a column at the back of a card stating its mid-range acceleration (e.g. 60-100, 0-100 or 100-150 times etc.)
2.7 Also add a column at the back of card stating its "Off-the-line acceleration" (0-30, 0-45 times etc.)
    3. Add optimisations/RQ rebalancing (optional)
    4. Publish the update.
    5. More corrected, fresh content and fewer rants!

I love this game. But I hate it when somebody makes such a mess of it. Hopefully, Hutch would get smarter and I don't need to write step-by-step instructions to guide them on how to solve rants.
Great suggestions and totally agree with all of them. Hutch give that man a job

If you haven't got proof enough, this one the Carrera 4 should have won. This update costs me probably a top 30 spot  :'(

I'm not a beta tester with all respect.
    please roll back
I wonder that wrenchmen are so passive in this thread:)

And now you force me to update? Thanks.
till now I lived in a world where 4wd meant smth. May I stay pls?

and why do you not stop the events? i think this big bug it's worste than issue of common event or porsche event... and i think that you need to test better the patch and then submit and upgrade the game... because as a lot of player said, we are not beta tester...

Me before the update; Ohh great! Lets max this 4WD Carrera as it may sure come in handy in wet/dirt tracks!

Me after the update; i wish i maxed another car or perhaps bought a Porsche Carbon fibre to get another RWD car and try to max that.. to bad i don’t have the time/cars to fix it and top 10 position is out of reach

Same too me, I don't have the resources to build a B Porsche from scratch, so I was really satisfied I had this one maxed. I just don't have enough stock C class too spend. Now I am wishing I did the 911 RS instead.

Not sure if this is strictly relevant but I lost this by 93 points to an inferior car. This update has seriously thrown cars off balance.

Hopefully someone at Hutch will actually try playing the game with the 4WD cars and see it for themselves.
Yes, that's what we're all doing.

C’mon Hutch, tell us regular players that we are right and there is a major problem.
I said we agree there's an issue and we're looking at it right now.

We can figure it out quicker if we get specific direction on the most extreme examples.
Don't want to sound to much hard on this, but this is work for beta tester (before releasing) and not a "work" for the players that should "play" the game.
We wanna help for sure and i understand for you is an hard thing to resolve (as you stated many times before).

Not sure I understand? We are working on it now, but we may be able to figure it out quicker if players help in this way. No problem if you don't want to do it, I'm just giving advice on what would get us there quicker. Things to try include: with traction control vs. without; 4WD with same weight as RWD compared to heavier; if the effect is more extreme on snow vs on dirt. These are all things we're trying, but there are many more of you than us so you can probably hone in on the specifics more quickly than we can.

if you guys really need help with us testing for you then please release a beta version for people to test for you don't do it and released an update and expect us to do the testing for you that is not how this is supposed to work

Roll back old version then do testing.Don't be surprised most of p2w players are not happy with your update.Asking players for screenshots of examples? Please remind me how much real money you asking for your car packs in game...
