That Lotus Elan rocks! I use it also, besides the Elise 1.6, it wins every slalom and Car park. The Beat of the rares.

Iknow! And it is useful on snowy tracks with its standars tires :p

    Secret weapon... Cadillac !
Elise standard tyres make it formidable on all surfaces .
Forrester dirt heavy but wet slalom good.
    Subaru off road drags .
Weak link the escort :/ still have nothing that gets up wet hill and the motor cross is hard . Would be nice to replace the escort with a fast medium high standard tyre but 13rq or under ?????

Ford Mondeo might work for you @bobdylan

Correct, but maybe we have to take that loss, I we can win the rest. @Larspyff is first with it. I am going to try a similar hand as his one, I am 2 - 6 currently, due to trying out several hands. I will try to get 1-2 now with an almost similar hand, I only change the El Camino for a Jaguar E-type ( standard tyres, good MRA and better grip as the El Camino ) and I don't have the Colt but the Chevette HSR instead. I still can swap something as I have now 2 RQ left. Let's see if this will work out.

I just don't live on a motocross track.

@Jaco I’m with you guys. Won’t be troubling the top-2 as I’ve setup my hand for dry stuff, seems to be working for a top-ten at the moment! Plus I can 3-star most rounds on the dry which is always good. Is the colt better on city than the Chevette?

had a bash with this to win dry .
If I could guess the dry tracks and the dirt then should be able to stop play

    Yes, noticed you!
But if the tracks are changed we could give it a try to make 1 -2.
I don't really know which is better, I thought Chevette and Rally Colt tied in Cities?

Guys, we introduced an off-road set into this event, but overall it looks fairly confusing.
We have changed this set to better fit in with the rest of the event. Apologies for the short-notice change.
Why do you keep making changes mid event? Players have again spent $ (in-game) and fused cars in order to try to accommodate the original tracks. The off-road set may have been an anomaly but now those who tried to have the cars to meet the needs of all the original sets have just had their time wasted again!

Can you please make a commitment to running an event to its course with no changes, once the start time has passed. Please!

Keep making changes mid-event?  This hardly ever happens.

It should not happen at all. Maybe I am frustrated and changes mid-event was the wrong context, but they restarted the event when they got the event numbers wrong, they ran an update in the middle of an event that put people into new brackets. My point is that for a company that is making a large amount of $ off their players they need a better change control system. If a large retail company in the non-virtual world operated like this then there would be hell to pay. I should know as I work for one.

A lot of players who are either not awake (mid-west coast US, or Australia) or others who are at work, will not be aware of this change and will have cars setup for a Motocross and Hill Climb, and will be hammered by those who can actually play at the moment, who will setup for the new track-set that has a Test Bowl as the only difference from the other sets.

Shouldn't you allow them some mistakes? You're human as well bro, humans make mistakes sometimes...

I don't think we 'keep making changes mid event', it happens very rarely.
I appreciate you may have invested specifically for this event. Sorry about this.
This kind of decision is not taken lightly. It's a process of weighing the balance between the overall quality and cohesiveness of the event, against the negative impact of a change mid-event.
In this case we elected to make the change. We are constantly working to improve the process of event setup and QA to ensure a smooth experience. It's not possible to make a commitment to running an event to its course with no changes. We will however always weigh up the relative pros and cons before making any change.
Thank you for the clear reply. I think Hutch shouldn't deserve so much hate for this thing. People just need to grab their iron and get it smoothed over.

So I don’t get to try to launch my Elise off the Motocross jumps anymore?  :'(

I'm assuming that you don't want to total your car? then No.
Your chassis will be broken, your wheels will fall off, your suspension/shocks will be shattered, your bodywork will fall to pieces, your seats will dislodge, your steering wheel will break from the hub, your feet will be broken, and your spine will be broken.
phew... a lot of broken things there...

Leaderboards indeed change when a new game update occurs. It's not possible to have players on different game versions within the same leaderboard, that's the single reason for this.

Players that are offline who have laid down ghosts on the dirt set are indeed going to be a bit screwed on this set until they lay down a new hand of cars. This is something we want to avoid as much as possible, and apologies again, it's an unwanted consequence of the change.

Still have not seen what changed after 5 tickets. Is it gone completely, could you tell us what was changed?
